Lemon Saffron Tilapia in 10 Minutes

2 pieces fresh tilapia
2 tablespoons olive oil
Juice of one lemon
Pinch of saffron
Salt and pepper to taste

PS: preferably use a non-stick pan to prepare this dish
PPS: if you want to make a complete meal out of this in 10 minutes, I recommend my 10-minute Broccoli Rabe with Edge ( as an accompaniment.  Just pop it into the oven when you start to cook the tilapia and both will be ready at the same time :)


1.  Add pinch of saffron to a bowl containing the lemon juice and stir- set this aside.

2.  Next, season tilapia with salt and pepper.  Sauté in olive oil on medium-high for 3 minutes and flip over.  Sauté for another 3 minutes.

3.  Add lemon juice/saffron mixture to the tilapia.  Allow to cook about 2 minutes, then flip and cook another 2 minutes...And done!

Serve next to a bed of broccoli rabe:
