Response to a not so "NICE" letter

When I was visiting my family in New Jersey for the holidays, I came across the decorative trunk that my grandmother had given to me as a gift years ago on one of my trips to Iran.  Inside, I found all of my old essays, poems, research papers and articles.  One of these pieces (my Stanford admission essay) "I Remember Khanoon Joon" I shared with you months earlier.

This is another piece I hope you enjoy.  It is my mailed response to a certain prestigious University's Dean of Admission's letter of rejection addressed to "Mr. Solmaz Amirnazmi."  Needless to say, I was offended not because I was rejected, but because I am a female, prompting me to write this letter.  The name of this institution will go unnamed to protect its identity (see entry title for a clue).

PS-I received a written apology letter from the University in the next two weeks.
