Sunday Brunch- Optical Illusion

Using small dishes serves as an optical illusion tricking your brain into thinking you're eating more than you are.  The results are satisfaction and consumption of fewer calories. 

ictured here: brunch for two with just 2 sliced figs, half an avocado drizzled with a touch of soy sauce and lemon juice, 2 tablespoons spicy hummus, 1/4 cup lowfat honey pear New Zealand style artisan yogurt, 2 small pieces European style whole grain bread, 3 oz gruyere & rosemary asiago and an arugula salad dressed with fresh lemon juice, olive oil and shaved parmesan cheese.
Strive for quality not quantity.
